Grocery Store comparisons

For whateve reason I got ambitious and decided I needed to try to hit all the stores this week just because. Here was the results. You judge for yourself where the best savings is. Remember, this is not the norm for me. I usually hit just one store a week and still save big!

CVS
TV: $99.59
SAVED: $54.46
SPENT: $45.13
Savings of 55%
* Also have $2 ECB to use on a future purchase. Factor that in and it makes it a 57% savings.
* I could have actually spent less on this promo or saved more. However, we go through 3 tsp of Zyrtec a day in this house so that was a definite need for me to catch on sale.
Albertson's
TV: $185.31
SAVED: $104.72
SPENT: $80.59
Savings of 57%
** I also got 2 free movie tickets ($24 value) AND the Pop-Tarts boxes had a promo to send in 5 tokens from them to get more free movie tickets. I got 5 for that reason alone so I'll be getting another free movie ticket.
* I am normally brand-specific with my deodorant but for just a buck I thought I could give a new one a try since I was out of mine. I also plan to use all these pop-tarts with our upcoming camping trips and road trips. The Melba Snacks were a non-sale item.
Smiths- I will post this when I find the receipt that I can't figure out how it got misplaced from the others.

Walgreens- I will post these stats when I find the dang receipt I somehow misplaced!

Vons
TV: $247.12
SAVED: $97.84
SPENT: $149.28
Savings of 40%
* I got a $10 voucher to use. Factor that in and it is a savings of 44%
* I was SUPPOSED to get an additional $50 in vouchers. The ad is a bit misleading in the way it is worded and you do need to separate your transactions. I plan to go back and get those additional vouchers. With those vouchers, they way you should do this sale, the savings is 64%!
